	Pigeon Forge Retreat Planning Tips

Parking can be a problem but not when you choose "Big Bear Lodge" as your retreat location. We have parking for vans, church buses, or up to 12 cars. If you are planning your retreat around a day or two at Dollywood as many do, no need to move the bus, you can walk from the front door as the cabin is located only 2 blocks from the entrance. Imagine the convenience.

Park & Shop!
Plenty of parking is available at the Pigeon Forge City Trolley Office and Patriot Park located in the center of town hear the Old Mill. (Less than a mile from your retreat cabin!) This is an excellent place to park the van or bus and walk and enjoy the scenes. The Old Mill area provides restaurants, ice cream and candy shops, specialty shops and more. Take a further hike up Teaster Lane and shop in the many Outlet Malls available at Belz Factory Outlet World.

Consider a Picnic in the Park
Patriot Park is a perfect place for a picnic and some exercise. Walking trails are available for skates, bikes and walkers. Fishing is fun by the mill or just sit a spell and feed the ducks. Picnic Packs are available at many restaurants in the area or pack your own from your beautiful fully equipped kitchen at "Big Bear Lodge."
